This programme aims to raise secondary school students’ awareness about biomedical sciences and how microbiome and related research can benefit the human mankind. Students will engage in a 2-week interactive bioscience programme, where we will provide them with more in-depth knowledge of the subject.

 ꕤ Eligibility ꕤ 

  • Hong Kong permanent residents

  • Secondary students interested in Health Science, Biotechnology, Healthcare/Policy and Social Science, aged 15 or above

  • Good knowledge of application software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing

  • Pro-active, enjoy working with people and possess strong communication skills

  • Able to communicate effectively, embrace change and overcome challenges

  • Have strong desire to learn and resolve problems in new ways

  • Proficient in English and Chinese

ꕤ Programme Structure ꕤ

Our students will be able to learn knowledge on microbiome by attending customised activities such as hands-on laboratory sessions and exposure to clinical research. They will be assigned to complete a group presentation on a given topic related to healthcare and community during the period.
