Programme Period:
Up to 3 years
This programme aims to offer outstanding young researchers (local or overseas clinicians and scientists) the opportunity to strengthen their research knowledge in the field of microbiome at doctoral or postdoctoral levels. Applicants should demonstrate high qualities of academic performance, research ability/potential, communication and interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities.

Possess a Master’s degree from a recognized university for PhD; a doctorate or equivalent for postdoctoral fellowship

Have relevant research background in Community Research, Laboratory Research or Data Science

Good knowledge of application software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing
-
Have strong desire to pursue a career in the gut microbiota

Pro-active, enjoy working with people and possess strong communication skills

Able to communicate effectively, embrace change and overcome challenges

Have strong desire to learn and resolve problems in new ways

Proficient in English and Chinese

Remuneration package: successful applicants will receive an annual studentship of HK$216,300 for PhD during the fellowship period. Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience for postdoctoral fellows.
